Sending a Publication

You've already done the hard part! You created the content and setup the template in MP. Now is the easy part!

While sending the email is easy, you do want to take special care to double check your content and any links in your email. I HIGHLY recommend you send yourself a copy first and click each link to verify they are correct. I'd force you if I could...

Sending a test email.

  1. Open up your publication https://my.northway.org/mp/376

  2. Do a once over on your subscribers. Doesn't hurt to know how many emails you will be sending.

  3. On the General tab, Actions ⇒ Message. The publication and subscribers are automatically loaded.

  4. Insert ⇒ Templates ⇒ All Subscriptions Page Templates ⇒ your specific template.

  5. Verify your subject and body content

  6. Add any attachments or adjust fields on the Advanced tab as necessary.

  7. Hover over Send and choose "Send To Me"

You will receive the email in your inbox. Double check its content, pictures, links, and attachments. If changes are needed, close the message window and adjust your template.

Follow steps 1-6 repeatedly until you are satisfied with the resulting email.

Send/Schedule your email.

  2. If scheduling a future send, set that on the Advanced tab

  3. Hover over the Send button and choose Send.
