How to Add a New Family
1. Navigate to https://my.northway.org/mp/0/1/
2. Click "Contacts"
3. Click "Tools"
4. Click "Add / Edit Family Tool"
5. Type the Last Name into the search bar to see if the family is already in MP
6. If they are not in the dropdown, click "New Family"
7. Set the Campus/Congregation
8. Enter the home address
9. Enter Name
10. Select Gender
11. Enter Email Address
12. Enter Cell Phone Number
13. Select Marital Status
14. To add children, go to the "Family Member" segments and add First Name
15. Set the household position to "Minor Child"
16. Add Gender
17. Enter Date of Birth
18. Add School Grade
19. Click "Save"
20. Click "Close"
Feel free to edit the following on a contact record using the Add/Edit Family tool:
- Phone Number
- Email address
- Home address (done on the Household record)
- Misspellings in the name
- Change the nickname
Please DO NOT change the following items. The below should be emailed to mpsupport@northway.org
- Combine or separate families (marriage, divorce, kids not in correct household)
- Change status from active to inactive or the reverse
- Change someone’s status to Deceased
- Change the participant status, such as Visitor to Regular Attender
- Make anyone a Member
- Change the congregation
- Attempt to combine or delete contact or participant records (duplicates)
