Serving Team Background Checks
Follow these directions to keep up with the background check status of your volunteers!
1. Navigate to the Groups page in MP and search for your Guest Services group
2. Click your campus Guest Services group
3. Click "Participants"
4. Click on the view menu and change the view to "Background Check (ALL ROLES)"
This will show you the background check status of all of your volunteers, regardless of if their Group Role requires a background check.
5. Your screen will now look like this, showing you the dates for each of the 3 required background checks.
6. To only see team members who are in a position that requires a background check, click the "YES" button on the "Background Checks Required" column.
7. Now your screen will only show you the information of group members whose role requires a background check!
Looks like someone in this group is missing their background checks! When this happens connect with that volunteer to get their clearances updated and on file with NW. See northway.org/clearances for instructions and links.
Check a Specific Background Check Record
8. If you have a specific person that you want to check the status of, you can go directly into the Background Check records by opening the Contacts dropdown and clicking "Background Checks"
9. Type in the name in the format Last Name, First Name to see what is on file for that person
